Orders & Project Execution
All countertop fabrications and bespoke fittings are tailored to customer-specific requirements. Once material allocation (such as slab cutting, polishing, or laminate sizing) has commenced, orders may not be cancelled except where required under UK consumer law.
Customer Responsibilities Customers are responsible for ensuring:
Accurate property and cabinetry information is provided.
Base units and cabinets are fully secured, level, and capable of supporting the weight of stone surfaces prior to templating.
Adequate and safe site access is available for our tradespeople and heavy material deliveries.

Installation & Workmanship

Warranty & Aftercare
Manufacturer Warranties: Selected materials supplied and installed by Austin Laminate Countertops (such as premium Quartz or specific Laminate brands) may include specific manufacturer warranties covering material defects under normal domestic use.
60-Day Workmanship Guarantee: If installation-related issues arise within 60 days of project handover—including joint movement or fitting adjustments—we will assess the matter and arrange appropriate remedial work where applicable.
Exclusions: Warranties do not cover accidental damage, chipping from heavy impacts, heat damage (placing hot pans directly on surfaces), misuse, structural subsidence of cabinetry, third-party modifications, or general wear and tear following the handover.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Austin Laminate Countertops shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, delays outside our reasonable control, natural material variations, or delays caused by third-party contractors hired directly by the client. Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful under UK law.
